A lot of travelling this year. Finally I settled down again and keep meeting amazing students. A few references:
I cannot recommend Angelica enough. But I'll try. Oh man is she good. From a brief email correspondence she was able to dial in on areas in need of improvement and every minute of our lessons was useful and challenging and practical. I have spoken Spanish at a functional but not impressive level for years and in a great few long days with Angelica I really did improve a lot. Her focus on creative activities and her knowledge of and enthusiasm for Villa de Leyva, which is quiet but legendary, fascinating and beautiful, made me stay on for a month extra. And I just bet I'll be back.

Visiting Wine Farm in Villa de Leyva
During a trip in Colombia I took classes with Angelica, as i felt my Spanish was rusty and i had forgotten most of the 'subjuntivo' grammatical rules. In our first encounter, Angelica had swiftly identified the gaps in my grammar and by the end of the class came up with a study plan that was truly well targeted and that fully met my expectations.
Angelica is very approachable, sharp, fun, cultured, interesting, and above all, very professional. I would therefore highly, emphatically recommend taking Spanish classes with her to anyone spending some time in awe-inspiring Colombia. I know i'll do it again, ojala (+subj.).

I recruited Angelica’s translation services for a business trip I had to Bogota and I got more than I had bargained for. She was planned to be out of the city during the time of my visit, but made a special trip to accommodate my requirements. She was punctual to our meeting time, she dressed professionally, and she was very helpful with the cultural and language barriers that were presented throughout the day. I had 2 meetings planned and dinner with some clients. She was great company and made my dinner guests feel very comfortable and relaxed. It made for a great evening and helped cultivate my relationship with my clients.
